Rich’s career has been at the intersection and forefront of the media and technology industries. From 2019 to 2024 he was the General Manager for TikTok in Europe/EMEA, responsible for growth and management of the business in the region. Prior to TikTok, Rich led Marketing for YouTube in EMEA for nearly a decade, helping to establish the concept of creators, launching YouTube’s subscription business and much more during a period of hyper-growth. Before Google, Rich held various marketing roles, including at ITV where he launched on-demand service ITV Player and connected TV platform YouView. Rich is enrolled at the Oxford Internet Institute, researching AI and tech issues and he serves as a Trustee of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
